There is pure magic in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains of New Mexico. The sage brush, the land, the light, and the color are unlike anywhere else. This piece is my abstract interpretation of the hills several miles outside on childhood home on the way to Santa Fe. La Colina is a piece with stunning color and the movement of the wind I’ve created by carving through the wax.

Currently it is in it’s natural state (unframed), but can be framed as pictured in some of the photos below for an additional charge.
